I'll bet Mr Hack could! |

These are all of the sketches Kyle Babbit did for the Dr Who Mono set. In my opinion, they are well below his usual standard. At least from what I've seen:
They look much better small like this |

Request please: are there pics anywhere of Robert Aragon's official sketch cards for this release? (the Strictly Ink page with these details has long gone) |

Ask and you shall receive However, although there were 50 images posted on the Strictly Ink site, they included a duplicate of one of the three card panels so only 47 different sketches were posted. I've edited out the duplicates here. I downloaded copies of all of the images posted by SI for future reference:

Kevin, as always your helpfulness and kindness is appreciated.
I have the black Dalek which is half of a 2 card set, so I'll have to hunt down the other bit with the red Dalek... |

If you come across the red Dalek by Robert Aragon that I'm looking for while you're searching please let me know. These multi-panel Red Daleks seem to be quite an elusive species |

Two new additions to the collection. A great sketch of a blue dalek by Hack which is my favourite one of his from this set and the Doctor & Susan by Wilkinson who has done some stunning cards for the set.

Nice cards. I've just seen the Tom Baker PSC that Zane, aka Gooney Toons, has done for you posted over on Scoundrel. It looks pretty good too...and will be even better than the scan when you actually see it in your hands |

The Sarah Wilkinson sketch I've been waiting for to complete my Master Set finally arrived this morning Fortunately, it wasn't held up in the postal dispute and was well worth the wait. Definitely one of her best sketches from this set and it wasn't a commission:

I am down to 2 to get (Babbit & Corroney), 2 are in the post from America and 1 is being worked on by an artist.
So much for no more commissions this year... oh well.
Woo-hoo 2 to go... |

I still have a 'spare' Babbit sketch available if that's of any interest. |

The return cards from Kyle Babbitt arrived today and look much better in hand than the scans made them look.

And the fun and games start for the master set chasers with a sketch by Jay Pangan.
So is there going to be new artists added with the year box or is it random blanks sent out as samples. Do we inclued these or just the artists listed for the mono release? |

I spotted that on eBay myself and put in a bid before heading to bed. Did you win it ? As the artist says in the description that he will be doing some work for Strictly Ink soon, I suspect it is a genuine card though I doubt if Barrie has cleared him to sell it in advance of the Yearset release. |

Looking at the feedback it was indeed Craig. You bugger, I came second with the same bid, but a few seconds later. Never mind.
You went out of the bidding almost as soon as you had bid Kev, never mind.
It's a valid question, are they part of the set or not? Certainly not pack inserted or redemptions so I guess it is down to individual interpretation as to weather or not they are. With them being on official stock I am tempted to go down the yes route, but I do think Strictly Ink is doing the dirty once again.
As an aside if Strictly can do this what happens if one of us gets blanks and gets an artist to work on it official or not?
Oh by the way Master Set complete except Pangan and the other yearbox dudes, not quite sure if I really want to continue. Average cost £37 per card, so just over box price, trade that is not retail, cushty.
I will pop up scans when I have them all in hand and will report the tale of woe with one of the artists too, if it ever bloody arrives. |

I was the winner and it might be his only dr who sketch. He said "I'll be on the avengers, harryhausen, and csi list of artists soon and it will probably be the only dr who sketch." So it must have been an odd blank he has done. I think that a set with all the artists from the original release can be considered a master set and any think else is a bonus. |
