Hello, I'm new here and I could do with some advice. I have an original screen seen item that I am thinking of selling on Ebay, but none of the examples of previous sales I've seen on this site or elsewhere seem to be that recent. Is this because items are rare or because the bottom has dropped out of the market in the past two years? I'm wondering what my chances are of getting a reasonable price for the item. The piece in question is lot 250 from the 1983 Longleat sale, Tyssan's costume from Destiny of the Daleks, as worn by actor Tim Barlow. Alas it never included the trousers, which were not part of the lot as sold. They weren't in the sale and were presumably lost by the BBC. It consists of the jacket and belt, (plus original BBC coathanger!). The piece is in pretty much mint condition (though deliberately distressed)and exactly as seen on screen. There is some slight crumbling of the foam lining but not much. Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.
