Patrick Troughton is my favourite. There are many "favourite" episodes on my list and it depends on which Doctor I want to watch. Overall I would have to go with Evil of the Daleks. Just the one episode to watch is enough, but love listening to the audio over and over and over again.
I'd agree that Earthshock is the best Davison story. |

Tom Baker, Patrick Troughton. Deadly Assassin, Warriors gate, Mind Robber, Inferno, so hard to get it down to 1 story! |

My favorite Doctor has always been Peter Davison, he was the first 'current' Doctor I remember as a kid at the age of 5..., I recall all the other Doctor's after him as current Doctor's but everyone before him I saw as repeats on TV including the 2 best actors that played the part, Tom Baker & Jon Pertwee (in my opinion)!!! When I was a very young boy I thought Peter Davison was amazing as the Doctor..., when I watched some of these episodes now that I've grown up I realised that some of the acting wasn't the greatest BUT I still like him the best as he's part of my childhood memories!!!
My favorite episode or story has to be Genesis of the Dalek's, I wasn't born when it was made BUT I've seen it loads of times on TV, VHS & DVD..., if I ever want to watch a classic story it's one of my top 5 to watch (if I haven't watched it recently already that is & in this case that's 2 days ago)!!! |

William Hartnell and An Unearthly Child, i personally dont think Doctor Who got any better, and im not for one min saying it went down hill from that moment, i just think that is one spectacular piece of television.

Patrick Troughton. My favourite surviving episode is Web of Fear 1, but I'm sure some of PT's lost episodes are better!
Web of Fear 1 is a superb 25 minutes of TV IMHO. |

I find it so hard to distinguish between the first four. They were the Doctor for me closely followed by Peter Davison. From the new lot I suppose it would be Matt Smith but without the passion I feel for the first four.
The only one I really didn't like was Sylvester McCoy, because I didn't think he was up to the job, but then neither was the production team of that time. |

I love the Daemons too. Dont all attack me when I say this but I loved the story better in Black and white, before it was re-coloured. Black and white just added to the atmosphere of the whole story

For me it's got to be Jon Pertwee. The man is a star !! As for favourite story, I'm torn between the Deamons and the Sea Devils. Simply because they are so personal to me and that little Bok scared the living daylights out of me when I was a kid. Mind you Terror of the Autons is up there with them....oh just too many to narrow it down really. |

Curse of Fenric also one of my faves, love the bit when the dr wards off the haemovores,if you read his lips you can see he's saying the names of his companions...stunning.Also like Happiness Patrol, very underrated, I have an original mask and poster from that story |
