Rumour has it that the season will start with a 2 parter, and a Dalek one at that!!!

I think that the idea of starting the season with a 2 parter of any kind is a great one IMHO and I'm at a loss to understand why RTD never did one (with the exception of the first season single parter, which made sense as an intro one-parter IMHO).

It hooks your viewers right from the start, and just about guarantees a good audience for part 2...

I tend to agree with the two part theory but find it unlikely that the Daleks will be seen again for a long time. Reading between the lines Moffet seems keen not to include the past in the same way Hinchcliffe and Holmes did during their tenure. And let's face it, you can't keep creating whole new armies of Daleks just to wipe them all out at the rushed conclusion of that particular story.

I have heard that a very popular foe from the past will be returning. (Sometime during series 5)
From the days of PT and JP and never been seen sinccccce ;)

Also that the Christmas Special will be a 2 parter with part 2 shown on New Years Day, introducing Matt.

Well that narrows it down

I hope they get a revamp ala Cybermen then. I cant see Tennant being too scared of their slow pace like PT was.

Hi Alan,

If it is true, then they must surely have to revamped to a small extent and more heat resistant lol At the pace of the new stories it could be all over in 10 minutes!!
