For those interested:

'Tis yet another of those partwork series that I assume will end up costing you a few hundred quid and go on for a very long time.

Not for me, but clearly others will be keen.

Lovely artwork but, as you say, too expensive in the long run.

A cosmos without The Doctor scarcely bears thinking about...

Lovely Idea but you have to ask yourself " What can these books tell me that I don't already know or find out via the net ? "
Then you have to look at the price 80 issues planned so that's ohhh what just under 800 quid What ! Excuse me HOW MUCH ??? No thank you
Oh hold on what about Series 9 ? Is this going to be a add on ? oh so thats another 40/50 quid oh hold on ( and fingers crossed ) what about series 10 ? Ok I'm getting ahead of myself.

Sorry guys I'm going to have a good old moan so you will have to excuse me.

I presume these are Hardback Books ? So if they can produce a Hardback book for a tenner why the hell are the Magazine Specials so damned expensive ? When you compare the two ? After all when you think about it the Specials are in fact a magazine or if you like a Softback book ! And yet we're expected to pay the same amount for what is in fact a inferior product ( A Book Verses a Magazine )

And where the hell is Series 8's season/series guide ?? Come on Panini get that published at least before anything else for god sake its nearly a YEAR since it was broadcast !! Grrrrrr

Breathe Robin Breathe sorry but this REALLY WINDS ME UP !!! FFS ! I Hate you Panini for making us or me wait so long for it !!!

This is the day the Timelords returned....
For Gallifrey....
For Victory....
For The End Of Time Itself....!!!

There isn't going to be one, is there? I think they've already said that from Series 8 onwards, the material is going to appear in the books.

I debated on getting this or not - I don't need it, but I never got the figurines or DVD partworks, and with the Big Finish Freebie included... so I'm signed up, for now at least. I have a nice empty shelf begging to be filled.

Bought issues 1 & 2 and love the books. Unlike some I haven't had the inclination to look into pre, post and during production, but I've been fascinated through these. The pictures are good quality and the artwork attracts me from the off.

Not sure whether I'll be allowed by Mrs. Perciwho to continue the purchases. Although she says I can buy the issues with stories I love...surely that's most issues then?

The price could be a drawback, but with the DVD collection nearly done and only 4/5 convention visits per year, what else shall I spend my pocket money on
